Office Lenses

Sometimes referred to as extended reading lenses, office lenses offer a greater depth of focus than standard reading lenses. For many people reading lenses provide excellent close vision but as they look at a computer screen it is slightly out of focus. This is because reading lenses are designed to work at a closer distance than that of the computer screen. One alternative would be a separate pair of spectacles for the computer screen but because these would focus further away, reading then becomes an issue.

Office lenses combine the two prescriptions creating comfortable vision for both screen and reading. Although we use computer screens as an example, these lenses are also ideal for DIY and various hobbies where good close vision is needed as well as crisp clear intermediate vision.
