It's not too long ago that contact
lenses were only worn by a select few and for them it was a daily
ordeal! But now almost all people requiring corrective lenses have
the option of wearing contact lenses as an alternative to
spectacles. Indeed, many of
today's wearers alternate between spectacles and contact lenses as
it suits them. This can be as a result of daily preference,
convenience or requirement, for example, wearing contact lenses on
holiday or for social occasions and spectacles for work and for
relaxing at home.
Recent improvements in material and
contact lens design enable previously unsuccessful wearers to
